KALA ACADEMY:
The kala academy ,Goa was established by the government of Goa as an Apex body to develop music , dance , drama , fine art, folk art, literature etc and thereby promote cultural unity of the state .
The Kala Academy has four schools which is the school of Indian music, school of western music , the school of drama and the school of dance.
The art gallery at kala academy is usually used for display of paintings from local as well as visiting artists .
The kala academy has a huge library in its premises. Books on Indian and Western music , visual art , theatre art, folk art , biographies of great personalities and musical spools adorn the academy’s prestigious library.
Any casual entertainment seeker will find a host of programs catering to wide range of interest.
