Palace of Maquinezes

The old goa medical college was housed in the palace of maquinezes or palacio dos maquinezes that was built in 1702 in panjim . The building facing the mandovi river is painted in ocre yellow and white. It looks beautiful with semi arched Windows, wooden ceiling, long corridors, ornamental grills , stained glass of gothic style and pillars resembling the Doric order.
